Youth Sports Programs

The NJ HIIT Sports program for youth ages 8 through 12 is a six-week training program aiming at enhancing sport and movement capabilities of the young athlete. With focus on improving speed, agility, balance and overall performance through movement dynamics, our young athletes will take their skills to the next level for their next upcoming season.
More than just a sports program, the 2019 Summer NJ HIIT Youth Sports program will help young athletes develop the self-confidence, team oriented spirit and a tenacious determined mindset needed to succeed in any environment in life. Led by National Academy of Sports Medicine certified coach and former professional football athlete Robert Colon, this program will increase the young athlete's ability to face challenges with determination and a positive mindset.
Each week will encompass a theme of the week aimed at not only sports but life. In addition, each week will be made up of three sessions (Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays) each focusing on unique sport specific skill building, but always building upon the previous sessions. In all, the NJ HIIT Youth Sports program will span 6-weeks made up of 12 unique, challenging and educational 1-hour training sessions.

The Summer 2019 Youth Sports Program will be led by Coach Robert (Robbie) Colon, a former professional football athlete with extensive experience training young athletes as well as high school football and baseball players. Coach Robbie is also a personal trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also currently the Sports Program Director at NJ HIIT Fitness and Performance were he serves the fitness community as a group and personal training Coach.
